What is the role of the rest of the Anointed,please ?
by Phizzy ini am a little confused, i have to admit it is laziness/nausea, i cannot make myself read the latest rag that spews out the new shite, but my question is, what is the future role of the rest of the anointed ?.
if the fds, which now consists of a handful of men, is going to be "appointed over all jesus' belongings" are the rest of the anointed not only redundant now, but into eternity too ?.

I would love that teaching!
Crêpes are one of my favorite foods, and having the Annointed make them makes sense because they are already familiar with flat, round bread [1].

new light on FDS and 1914
by inbetween inthe society claims now, that before 1914/1919 there was no fds, this means also, russel was not part of it, he was not the channel from god.. then the calculation for 1914, which russel made popular and promoted, was done in a time, when god revealed actually nothing, does this prepare the way to finally dump 1914 chronology ?
approaching the 100 year anniversary for christs supposed rulership, it becomes anyway more and more ridicolous.. i know, some argue 1914 is essential for their being chosen 1919, but now they say, they are somehow not appointed over the belongings yet, so also this aspect looses significance.
and the inspection of the temple can begin anytime anyway, it was convinient to link it to 1914 but i think its not really necessary.

I mostly agree. I don't believe they will "dump" 1914 per se, but I see it doing a "fade"[1] from Jehovahs Witness history. And yes, it's no accident they've come up with this new shit a year before 2014. More to come. . .

The one thing that people get wrong about the cult status is that it has something to do with it being unlike "mainstream Christianity." This has nothing to do with being a cult, in fact religion may have nothing to do with whether a group is considered a cult or not.
It was only when I saw the pattern of behavior which describes a cult (which Steve Hassan is so well known for) that I began to understand why JWs are a cult.
Before this I always blew off the cult idea thinking its nobody's business to proclaim one group to be "mainstream" or acceptable and one with funky ideas a "cult."

Editing, however, is a pain in the ass. For instance, if I want to insert a link to anything, I end up writing my HTML by hand in Pages, and then cutting and pasting it.
No idea how embedding youtubes works.

when i found out it was up i told so many people frantically that there is a new study article up and that it had so many changes.
my mother started crying saying how happy she is to be a part of an organization that is truly directed by jehovah... only the true faithful and discreeet slave could have such insight.... another person began to say how great it is to see the celestial chariot on the move.. .

I think that this article could have been a last straw article for my one BIL. . . but I'll also tell you why it probably won't be.
He had it already with the Overlapping Generation thing - a load of crap, they don't know what they're talking about. Now, both he and I were members of the "Rvelation Book Generation", the group of kids/young adults who endured that shit over and over for close to two decades
And now it's all WORTHLESS.
Why it probably won't be his proverbial last straw? Daughter is gungho, ready to graduate HS and pioneer; congregation is friendly; wife is pioneering; he's been a MS for about three years; <=== you all know.
Will be interested to know what he thinks.

Yup. Haven't thrown it out the window, but are (really have been) dismantling it from the inside, and eventually with a POOF! it will have been of no consequence at to all the NextGen Witnesses.
But boy, are they heavy on the timeslines and footnotes! It's as if they believe "If we put some timelines and footnotes into this article, it has to be true!" Evidently, this is not the case [1]

My wife picked up on this bit during the memorial talk.
I (half) joked with her that a good way for the New Faithful and Discreet Slave Class to get rid of Annointed Partakers would now be to "help them" on their way to Jesus with "special" Watchtower Farms Wine.
The wine would actually be a dehydrated "wine mix" in a packet shipped to all congregations. Elders would just have to mix (very carefully) this special memorial concoction and give extra warning about who should partake come memorial night.
This would not only solve their "Partaker Problem" but also help out Jesus. He could really use their input in figuring out his heavenly kingdom.
My wife's reaction to my idea: "They would literally be drinking the Kool Aid"
Yes, something like that.
I doubt anyone would ever partake again.
